I started a new build today called Street Scene. I’ve not seen many people complete this one, but it’s a pretty cool one. I love the tunnel that comes out of the side of the book nook.
Today I completed the tunnel on the side and the main staircase that you see from the front of the book nook. There isn’t much to customize so far, other than painting the edges to alleviate the wood look. I’m loving this so far…can’t wait to see the finished result.

Your progress on Street Scene looks fantastic and that tunnel detail really steals the show. Painting the edges is a great touch to add personality and break up the wood tone. Keep it up we can’t wait to see the finished masterpiece come together!

@Carmie this kit seems to be widely unnoticed. It’s such a fun build and a cool theme. Once I get it completed I’m hoping others will be drawn to it and we’ll see more posts of it. 
Every time I have seen this, it has only been the front part which just looked like a flight of stairs, which didn’t appeal to me. It’s just now that you use shown us the side that I can appreciate it a little more.
Now, I’m looking at this kit in a whole new light.

Seriously do take a look. I cannot remember who showcased it a few months ago, but there is a train on the side, makes it look pretty cool. I was not attracted to it either, until I saw that. Makes a difference!
