Oh, the alpacas. That was a fun addition to the post

So… This is indeed an interesting and original idea. It’s a mixed feeling, isn’t it? Building a Book Nook and knowing beforehand that some of the details may not be appreciated or noticed once it’s finally built.

That can happen to any build I believe, not just a Book Nook? It’s all about the joy of building and knowing it’s there. I mean… Take @Tricia12 as an example. She knows some of the parts of her Dream Gift Factory won’t be seen from the outside, but she’s painting them anyway just for the fun and for the feeling of it. It may not be properly seen, but you know it’s there. You know you’ve made it.

For the sake of another example, take any bookstore kit of any kind. How many cover and back cover stickers are we adding to the small square wooden parts, and how many of them are missed in the greatness of the bookstore?

I know what you mean though! It’s an interesting concept to say the least. It’s just not for my taste I guess? I prefer the Book Nooks as they’re supposed to be, even if something will be missed :stuck_out_tongue:

The finished result is so unique. I haven’t seen that technique before. Thanks for showing it to us!

I understand what you’re saying. It really was an experiment and to be honest, it probably would have worked better with another kit. I will probably do this one again in the future as a book nook. And look at you now…. Loving book nooks

Sometimes we do not know what we do not know! Each time I build, I learn something new.

Hi Suzanne_Jones! This is such a clever way to ensure every little detail of the Fairytale Amusement Park stays visible. I love how you took the initiative to swap the lighting and even cut your own base board. Those alpacas at the end were the perfect surprise treat!

Well, you’ll never know it until you try it! I wouldn’t do it myself since I love the Book Nooks as they are even if some things are missing from a glance, but I understand your point and why you’d do it :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks so much. It was an experiment. I’m not sure this kit was the right one to do it with though.

Omg Sue I love this so so much! :pink_heart: I’m always upset when all the details in a book nook are hidden after being assembled and I keep wishing they’ll open like an actual book instead. :face_holding_back_tears:

It’s nice you experimented on the Amusement park before the Sea Breeze. :light_blue_heart: I’m sure everything will turn out fabulous!

Thanks so much my lovely. It was fun doing it and I can’t wait to see how Sea Breeze (whenever I get the courage to tackle it) will turn out.

Interesting experiment you got there! It looks cool!
Alpacas look like they are having a great time grazing.

I appreciate your comment @joy.licerio. It was an enjoyable experiment even if it didn’t work too well.
