🎯 [DIY & Crafting Club Meetup 02 - Barcelona, Spain] My Second Meetup… and I Still Had Butterflies 🥹

Hi everyone!

I can finally share how my second meetup went… and WOW! :face_holding_back_tears:

Even though it was my second event, I was just as nervous as the first time. But this time I felt more prepared, since I already knew what to expect. I even went to the venue the day before to set everything up, as the meetup was on Sunday morning.

Instead of staying in the main area of the venue, I chose two smaller, more private rooms. And honestly… it was such a great decision. The only challenge was that we were split into two rooms (one with two tables and another with a bigger one), so Andrei, my husband, (thankfully he was there, he helped me SO much ) and I kept moving between rooms to help everyone.

We prepared each space with cutting mats, tool bags, and glue so people could sit down and start comfortably. Later we added more when we needed it.

This time, instead of doing a raffle like in my first meetup, I let participants choose their kits in order of arrival. Since I brought a variety of kits with different difficulty levels, everyone could pick what suited them best. Most people were really happy with their choice, but I could clearly see some favorites: the Super Creator kits, the Cherry Blossom collection, and the Rolife Puppy’s Cozy Villa were a BIG hit! Noted for future meetups.

Also, as I did last time, I brought a few completed kits from home so participants could see how they would look finished and compare while building.

Before starting, I introduced myself as a Robotime Ambassador, explained a bit about Robotime, and gave some basic instructions… and then everyone got to work!

And just like in the first meetup, it was amazing to see how people connected. They were building, chatting, helping each other… really enjoying the whole process. Andrei and I were helping non-stop, and thanks to him we have a few photos, because I didn’t have a single second to take any myself :joy:

One of the most special moments for me was meeting @jenny74, who came all the way from Toulouse to Barcelona just for the event. That honestly meant so much to me!! :face_holding_back_tears:

Also, one participant managed to finish her kit during the meetup (the Super Creator Panda Hot Pot, and it turned out beautiful!), and two others finished their Puppy’s Cozy Villa later that same day at home and shared it with me on social media. Seeing their excitement made me so happy!!!

One small thing that made me a bit sad is that even we were 17 people (my first meetup had 23), this time a few people had to leave earlier, and others preferred not to give consent for photos. So in the final group picture we ended up being fewer people than expected. But of course, I completely understand and respect it, and what really matters is that everyone who came enjoyed the experience.

I’m also planning to make a little video recap of the meetup! Let’s see if I can edit it this week, because Andrei captured some really nice clips and I’m sure it’s going to turn out great

In short: it was an unforgettable meetup. The perfect way to end such an intense week full of emotions. Today I can really feel the “after effect”… like all the tension just disappeared at once :see_no_evil_monkey:

Once again, thank you so, so much to @Robotime for giving me the opportunity to be an Ambassador, and for allowing me to share this amazing hobby with such wonderful people.

And to everyone who came: thank you, truly. I hope this was the first of many meetups, and that you enjoyed it as much as I did.

What a great meetup you had! You and Andrei did a really good job!

He’s the best in the whole world, I love him so much. I’m so lucky to have him, because the emotional support he gives me and his help are priceless. There was a moment at the beginning when I was really nervous, just like in my first meetup, and thanks to him I was able to calm down and keep going hehe

Thank you so much, @Minus_88! He’s the best husband and helper I could have!

This is so great and heartwarming! You’re taking a truly amazing journey as an Ambassator and it shows. You’re slowly earning experience with your meetups and it also shows! Super congratulations to you for this achievement. I’m still sad I wasn’t able to join you for your first one, but I’ll definitely be there as soon as I can for a future one!

You nailed it! Another one! It’s nice that everyone had a great time. You did such a wonderful job even with all of the other stuff you have been juggling.

Twinnnn this is amazing, another job well done! :pink_heart: Like you said, what matters most is that everyone enjoyed every second of the meet up and had such a fun time crafting together.

I love that you offered a wide selection of options and it’s so interesting to see what everyone chose. Letting them choose their own kit on a first come, first served basis is such a fun alternative compared to the raffle!

Even though there aren’t many photos you can definitely feel the happiness and creativity through them!

Congratulations again! You’re amazing! :purple_heart:
