I spent most of yesterday working on making my new flooring. I didn’t like the brown Hardware flooring or the color of tile that they had in the master bedroom area. This is my new look. I made my own gray hardwood flooring.
Also in this picture, you will see that I changed the tile in the playground area and painted my own grass because that was much easier than trying to cut away the grass or work around it. I also completed my grand piano and stairs. Next I moved on to the kitchen area which had some ugly tan and orange tile in it so I redid that as well. I have also completed my upholstery work on the sofa and loveseat and dining chairs. That was no easy task because it is a leathery type fabric. I also had to paint that because it was a salmon color so I changed it to Pink
I think this one will probably take me another 5 days or so. That is me hoping so because I haven’t even touched any electrical and there are nine lights to do… here is the original model so that you can see all of the changes I’ve made so far
@Nita_Davis seee! You’re already doing so much customization in stuff it’s a small leap to doing dioramas. I focus on terrain as it’s easier for me but I could see you doing a whole room or house easily to how your dream house would be!
@Suzanne_Jones that’s a really good idea!! Do you have a theme in mind or something just in general? I can see a nursery or Halloween theme. Even a Christmas shopping mall! Yeah my head goes into overdrive easily lol
