Made serious progress yesterday! Built most of the internal mechanisms—coffee cups that twirl, cups with coffee that go around, and a couple of cat paws that pop in and out. Everything’s testing great 
The mechanism noise is pretty loud, though. The music helps but doesn’t completely cover it—it’s noticeable but not super distracting. I tried a few things to reduce it, but after checking with the community it sounds like that’s normal for this kit, so I’m relieved I didn’t assemble something wrong!
Still loving how the instructions lay out each section with parts listed in a left column—makes it so easy to stay organized.
Day 3 starts today—let’s see how much farther I can get!

Those mechanisms are so fun, and it’s great to know the noise is normal. Can’t wait to see what Day 3 brings!
Looking good already. Because this structure has many moving parts, I can understand why you hear it a bit more. Perhaps it will become less noticeable once more is built on top.

I haven’t bought this kit yet, but everyone says it works very noisily.
