UPDATE: I went back to the original instructions and repeated. It may have worked!
I have tried to reset cuckoo as per instructions. It cuckoos at 10 min. after the hour. I changed to USB and removed batteries. I tried another suggestion of unplugging as soon as it cuckoos once, rest time and then plug back in when time. Well now it cuckoos twice. Once on the hour and again at 10 min after. @CustomerService ideas? Everyone else, as much as I appreciate support, No need to reply if no suggestion please!
