Cuckoo Clock Comes out but not back in

Just starting to put the Cuckoo clock together (LC901C). I’ve only put the plastic part with the bird together so far. In testing it, the bird comes out but does not retract. Any suggestions?

SOLVED: Screw under bird just needed tightened.

Welcome to the community, @weslby.

It would really help if you could share a short video or a few photos so we can see how it’s assembled. It might be that some internal pieces aren’t fully connected yet, which would prevent the bird from retracting

Check if the lever where the bird sitting, and the spring are assembled properly. Sometimes it often comes off so the bird could not retract.

I had the same problem on my first test. I’m not at home to view the model but there is the tiny Springs underneath the shutters and one of mine wasn’t attached properly. It was a very easy fix. I hope this helps

can you share video or photo. I think some parts are not assembled completely.

Thanks! Yup, that was the issue. The screw needed to be tightened a little.
