Cuckoo Clock Chime

I recently finished my cuckoo clock, and I have to say I love it! I bought as a Christmas present for my dad. My problem is the cuckoo chimes at the wrong time. How can I adjust so that it chimes on the hour? Thanks!

@Dana_McAtee1 is de problem solved?

Hello,

To align the chime clock to the correct time or the moment of cuckoo chime, please follow the steps below without disconnecting the power:

  1. First, remove the clock hands.
    Then, turn the black gear on the back of the clock counterclockwise until you hear a ‘click’ sound . Immediately stop turning the black gear.
  2. Refit the hour hands, making sure they are aligned with the 12 o’clock position.
  3. Finally, turn again until the cuckoo chimes momentarily and observe that the minute hand goes full; if it is off, repeat steps 1-2, and if it is not off, set the clock to the current time by turning the black gear counterclockwise again.

Mine too. My clock “cuckoos” at 13 minutes after the hour. I hope you get the answer because I would like to know as well. Thanks for asking.

I was going to fix it, but my husband said he likes it as it is. lol. We have two other cuckoo clocks that actually go off on the hour and he wouldn’t be able to hear his if they all were going at the same time. So, thank you for giving the me answer I was looking for. I do have another question, but it’s about the parachute drop carnival ride. My parachutes drop but won’t go back up? Any advice?

That I cannot help with but I am sure someone on here can. I would post a new topic under Needs help category!
meanwhile @Nita_Davis @Liset @Wenbare or @Jerry_Boswijk have any of you done that one? and can you help?

I think that you may have something wrong with the wiring on your parachutes. That is a tough part to get correct. I had to disassemble mine several times and go back for Corrections. It is all about how you wind them around the gears and how you thread them through the holes. I wish you the best of luck

Thanks, Nita. I’ll try rewinding it again. That’s a good suggestion. It’s funny, it works the first time it’s started, but then stays up after that. I’ll keep trying to fix it.
