I think extra points should be given for QUALITY posts…as a lot of posts are only for point values…Just my opinion.

Can’t remember if i already did the survey or not.

I didnt know there was a point system till i got this message, thank you! This is great to know! :heart_hands::heart_hands:

I personally really like this idea, I like putting all the progress pictures in one post because sometimes i find it hard finding the other update posts, where others make 4-5 posts. I tend to put a bit of work into making my posts to make sure theyre great quailty and because i do that, i dont get that many points. And i agree with lots of posts are just for the point value.

I totally agree to that! Some posts are even hard to interact with them because they are not filling (?) I’m not sure how to say that :face_with_peeking_eye:

I found when i put the progress in the thread to update it wasnt being seen. I dont know about anyone else, maybe i can set notifications up differently but i dont get a notification when someone comments on their own post again unless they directly reply to me in the thread or tag me. So if you update a post with a new photo, unless i go back to that thread to check i wouldnt know you put any uodates. Does that make sense to you how i explained that?

I don’t mind following people on their journeys. May be some updates aren’t that interesting and people should do more to make content that others can engage with but I have enjoyed feeling like I’m taking people on my crafting journey with me. And I’ve enjoyed being able to encourage others.(this is not directed at anyone specifically.)

It’s ok. You can click on the survey and fill it out (maybe again), but the system would probably just say something like…You have already completed the survey. I would give it a try @Fieke_Vanderbeken

I have been wondering about this as well. I enjoy the build more than posting it here on the community and trying to get the points to keep ahead. I think quality response should be given more points. I think that poster can choose the most impactful response and it should be given more points. Just my thoughts.

Well, the  system does allows users to reward posts that they like. Though it is limited.

Less interesting content gets less ’s and less engagement.

And there are special edition prizes for quality content that is given separately from the activity prizes.

So in a lot of ways, good content IS being rewarded.

I don’t mind doing so either. In fact, I love it. A post becomes a “quality post” after a certain amount of engagement. Not just because someone decided to share a thought several times a day. I just scroll past those anymore, because I am going to share my hearts to those deserving of it…not just using them up… @Microgirl

Yes, based Notification logic of the Discourse platform, you will only receive emails when someone replies to you, mentions you (@), or sends you a private message. This is to prevent excessive emails from causing information overload and creating unnecessary interruptions for users. Additionally, we have setup a limit.

Thanks for the confirmation. That makes sense.

It’s absolutely okay to make a post with updates on your progress..but it’s sad to see several daily posts with absolutely no content…just a thought being shared with ZERO interaction. We love seeing progressive photos @Harley.
