Another one checked off my Sakura list 🌸✅

I love the little water feature on the ground in this one, it’s such a cute detail. I kept thinking how perfect it would be if I had a Smiski swimming in there I also didn’t paint anything this time, I really wanted the natural wood edges to show through and honestly I love how it turned out

Some of you remember when I used to post almost every day. Progress updates, little challenges, mail days, all of it. Life got busy and other things started taking priority, so showing up here consistently hasn’t always been easy

This kit actually sat on my desk for about three weeks. On days when I wasn’t feeling well, I’d just stay in bed and reach for those smaller super creator kits. They usually take about an hour, but for me they take a lot longer because that’s all the energy I can spare in that moment. And honestly, that’s okay

Coming back to this detailed build, I really took my time with it. Slowing down, focusing on all the tiny pieces, and just letting myself enjoy the process made it feel extra special… it was an easy kit and I have definitely done harder ones, but this is exactly what I needed. Simple.

I even filmed a sped up video while doing a little self care moment with a face mask on, which felt very me lately. I’ll link it here if you want to see the process

Some days, pressing and gluing tiny pieces together is all I’ve got in me, but it helps more than I can explain

I think a lot about why we post what we post. What might look like a random update could actually mean everything to someone. Sometimes it’s the one thing bringing a little bit of joy, and that matters more than we realize

Just like the tram in the Sakura Densya, we’re all moving at our own pace. Different stops, different timing, but still moving forward

Hope you’re all doing well listen to your body and take that rest when you need it, it really makes a difference

I’ll keep building and showing up the best way I can, and hopefully connect with more of you while I work through my next Sakura kit
