Presenting my 2nd Nanci Oriental Auspicious Animal - Qi Lin.
Still not the mermaid, but I’m still happy because she looks so pretty and elegant.
I am not familiar with Qi Lin but after asking Google it said -
“Kirin,” or more accurately Qilin (麒麟) in Chinese, is a legendary, auspicious hooved creature from East Asian mythology, often described as a “Chinese unicorn.” It symbolizes prosperity, serenity, benevolence, and wise governance.
