I recently picked up another small kit, this time an airship, and I’m really looking forward to building it.
I think it’s going to look really nice displayed next to my ship and hot air balloon once it’s finished. I like how these smaller builds can come together as a collection.
One thing I’ve noticed is that all of the small kits seem to have that same classic style packaging, which I actually really like. It gives them a consistent look and makes the unboxing feel familiar in a good way.
I’ve also realized it’s a lot easier for me to make time for these smaller builds, which makes them really enjoyable to work on consistently. I’m planning to finish my orchid first, then start on the airship, and save the ship build for after that.
Zoe_Lau, your little airship plan sounds absolutely lovely, especially with your ship and hot air balloon waiting to welcome it into the lineup! I really like how you’re pacing things with the orchid first, then the airship, that sounds like such a relaxing way to keep the hobby fun. And yes, that classic small kit packaging is so charming, it really does make each unboxing feel like part of the same sweet little world!
