After building all my DIY miniature houses, I ended up trying wooden kits like this Ferris wheel just to satisfy the itch to build something. This one was definitely faster to finish compared to my miniature houses, but just as cute in its own way.

I really love that the Ferris wheel actually moves, it makes the whole thing feel more alive. Imagine if it was the automatic one, that would’ve been even cooler!

Since it didn’t take as long to build, it was satisfying to see the finished result right away. It kind of gave me that instant “I want to build another one” feeling and so of course, I ended up buying more kits like this :grin:

When I am brave enough, I will try to color them. My kids would probably enjoy putting colors on this one :blush:

The Ferris Wheel looks cute. I get your feeling on builds you can finish in one sitting. Once you finish one, you’ll want to make more hehehe

There’s actually an automatic one by Robotime. And it’s a music box too. You might enjoy building it.

I’m excited to see your painted models one day. :blush: You should go for acrylic markers if you want an easier medium since acrylic paint can be tiring and it needs a lot of over layered colors.
