Christmas Eve Party Progress Update 2

Finally had some time to work on my Christmas Eve Party Story frame. I was able to make a few items.

My first mistake on this build is I cut the cloth based on the instructions but I shouldn’t have done that :woman_facepalming: the cloth provided was just right for the entire table. I’m not sure why there’s a scissor on the instructions.

I just taped the remaining cloth on the back so it won’t be visible.

Next struggle I had is using the double sided tape to stick the balls in the ceiling. It was not effective at all so I used glue for this step.

I attached the walls to the ceiling and called it a day for now. It’s time for me to prepare dinner.

Thanks for reading my post.

Thank you @Atropex I’m good at hiding :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank for the update! I honestly would’ve considered cutting the cloth based on your diagram too! :face_holding_back_tears: So I think you did an amazing job concealing it. :pink_heart:

I hope you have a good rest of the night and a yummy dinner!

When you glue in the table, I would turn table around so the break in tablecloth is to the back.
I am working on this too but it is my second one so not reposting too much. I did add some colors to my table cloth to change it up a bit. Also on the tiny tree, I mod podged and glittered it. Looks pretty.
Keep up the great work, this is a cute, fun little build!

I would have glued the balls also . Doing it with tape doesn’t look strong enough

Youre doing an amazing job! I ended up having to trim the end of my table clothes because when I wrapped it around, it was a bit too long and was getting bunched up. I assume thats why they have the piece being cut. :hugs:

Nice to see your progress. The scissors in the instructions are a bit strange indeed. I would also think you’d have to cut it. Luckily, you were able to fix it
