Hey guys! Just finished the “Christmas Candy Stand” DS043. It was a quick short little build, I started it last night and finished it this afternoon. I got a brief 24 hours off while I switch from dayshift to night shift lol.
Overall, a short and sweet build, the only thing I wasn’t super fond of was that it had quite a bit of stickers, I’d much rather glue pieces of paper than fiddle around with stickers lol. I still have a few hours of freedom today so I was thinking of maybe tackling a few more plants from Emily’s flower shop this evening. I hope everyone has been having a good day! I’ve added a bonus picture of my dining room table craft station since we were talking about our work areas the other day!
woohoo! I got this one too and when I am done with the flower box, I will be doing this one. I am super excited to do this. Ok with stickers, I often times will still glue so they stay stuck
This is one of the new sets. I really love it. It makes me excited for the future of Rolife to see what a great job they did on this series. And I believe they can continue to improve their kits.
I like that I don’t have to cut stickers. Some people prefer to cut things out themselves.
I think Rolife should provide both options. Then you could choose what looks best and have extra incase something goes wrong.
I like it when the paper items are pre cut! I just find that when you glue paper on you get a little more time to adjust it, whereas with stickers your putting it down and peeling it up constantly to try and get it straight or centered, with glue I can kind of just slide the item around!
It’s so cute! I love the details so much even when I’m not a Christmas kit person I do prefer non stickers too as I think they’re easier to adjust if you make a mistake hahahaha.
I love the work station and I hope you’re getting enough rest before the next gruelling shift!
Nice work! This is a nice fun quick one! I loved the little details. I feel like its got some really cute clever design aspects like the candy dispenser on the back wall!
I like the precut as well! and I am ok with stickers but sometimes I wonder about some of the sticker things. My last build, the stickers were not as sticky so I reinforced with glue
Yes! It’s a nice quick build! I only let myself do the easier builds on my work days! If I try to work on my harder build I end up too sloppy and messing stuff up! Lol
I’m definitely not haha, but that’s how my first night shift usually goes!
