Hi everyone! I just wanted to share this project I’ve been working on for almost 3 months. It’s from a different brand, which made it quite challenging for me since this kit involves a lot of DIY work. It was also tough because of the modern house style which needs to look clean and perfectly aligned.
I know it’s not perfect, but I hope you all like it because I really poured my heart and soul into this! Whenever I felt tired or frustrated, I’d take a break and build some Rolife kits instead, just to get that sense of relaxation and enjoyment back.
My absolute favorite part is the tea container! On the other hand, that little black table with the wire legs gave me a really hard time. I also had a lot of fun making the sofa and the bed. Right now, I’m currently working on the second floor and tackling the wiring, since this kit actually comes with a lot of lights!
Building these DIY-heavy kits is so enjoyable, and I actually have a few more similar ones lined up in my stash. Hopefully, I can finish them one step at a time. Wish me luck!
You are doing such a beautiful job on this! I know how time consuming these can be…but your patience and attention to details is outstanding. I love those elegant little slippers.
Thank you so much for the encouragement and inspiration! It truly takes a lot of hours to get those tiny details right. I’m so happy you love the slippers. Happy building to us
@micromagic16 its fantastic! the slippers are adorable and the small details like the bed and the wire work are all showing how great you are at this. I love it!!
Wow, three months of work really shows! You should be proud of what you’ve accomplished. Modern-style kits can be especially unforgiving because every little detail and alignment stands out, but you’ve done a wonderful job. I love that you took breaks with Rolife kits when you needed to recharge. That’s such a smart way to keep the hobby enjoyable instead of frustrating. The tea container is adorable, and I can definitely believe that wire-leg table tested your patience! Best of luck with the second floor and all the lighting. I can’t wait to see the finished house. It’s already looking amazing!
