My Aroma Toast Lab is finally done! This unique kit was definitely not the easiest one I’ve worked on. I spent a lot of time working on the wiring. After making sure all the lights were working, I still had to carefully arrange the wires so they wouldn’t get in the way when fitting the first and second floors onto the base board.
As you can see, initially, the wiring isn’t the cleanest, but at least everything works! I swear, I cleaned it up afterwards, I just don’t have the pictures.
Aside from the wiring, gluing the walls and floors together was also quite challenging. The instructions require you to build most of the structure separately before attaching it to the base board and this isn’t a snap together kit. Initially, assembling the first and second floors seemed straightforward, but once it was time to place everything onto the base board, fitting the walls and floors into their designated slots became a real challenge. Luckily, I checked it against the base board first to make sure it fit before continuing to glue the pieces together.
In the end, I made it work! I honestly wouldn’t have been able to finish it without my husband’s help. I really don’t enjoy working with electrical wiring especially when it has to be done from scratch plus this kit includes 2 lights with very thin wires, so twice the hardships.
Despite the challenges, I’m proud of how it turned out. I absolutely love this beautiful and functional kit.
