Care to share? What's your miniature personality?

Hahaha, I can believe that! You’re definitely one of the community’s master customizers!

That sounds like the perfect balance! :yellow_heart: Taking your time lets you enjoy the journey, and adding a few custom touches makes each build feel even more personal. I always love seeing how small changes can make a kit uniquely yours.

There’s always another kit that’s just too tempting to resist. Building and collecting really do feel like two separate hobbies sometimes!

My personality with every kit changes. Sometimes I don’t even know myself until I’ve done it. But one thing that I always enjoy is customising

I would have to pick a couple :joy: I love customizing a lot of things! I’m new to customizing but so far loving it. I do take my time and enjoy every step! Building for me is really relaxing. I also usually buy kits faster than I build them because I can’t deny a good sale :joy::blush:

except number 1.. My brains says “Oh no”… LOL

I like take my time and enjoy every step.

@MamaNheza this is such a fun community question. It is clear from the replies that many builders are a mix of careful instruction-following, slow enjoyment, customization, and buying kits faster than they can build them. That variety is part of what makes everyone’s miniature style feel personal.

I buy kits faster than I can build them. And it isn’t just kits, it’s shadow boxes and room boxes as well ha ha

I love that! :yellow_heart: Every kit brings out something a little different, doesn’t it? But I always look forward to seeing your customizations—they’re so creative and really make each build uniquely yours.

Hahaha, I love that answer! :joy::yellow_heart: I think “all of the above” describes a lot of us. It just depends on the kit, the mood, and sometimes how much patience we have that day!

It sounds like you’ve found the perfect balance. Customizing is so much fun, and taking your time really lets you enjoy the whole process. And I completely understand about the sales,it’s so hard to resist adding “just one more” kit to the collection! :yellow_heart:

Hahaha! :joy: I love the honesty! So you’re everything except “follow the instructions exactly.” That’s the fun of this hobby though, everyone has their own style, and your creative approach is what makes your builds so unique! :yellow_heart:

I wanted to say all of the above, but I don’t really buy kits faster than I build them.

The rest of the lines do apply to me though. Sometime it is nice to just follow instructions, but there are kits that I have customized which liked as well. There were some kits that I finished in 1 session and others, like my current one, that I’m finishing step by step.

Taking your time lets you appreciate all the little details and makes the whole building experience so much more relaxing. Sometimes the journey is even better than reaching the finished kit. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you so much! :yellow_heart: I love how everyone has their own way of enjoying the hobby, and there really isn’t a right or wrong approach. It’s those different personalities and creative styles that make our community so fun and inspiring.
