[Build Progress] Two kits on the go

I know that I said the garage was going to be my next build but I found a gorgeous Rolife Kawaii vending machine on AE that I want to modify and use in the garage, so until that arrives, the garage can wait.

Instead, I found this kit in my stash and thought ‘you know, that doesn’t look too difficult’.

After four hours, going cross eyed and a little bit of swearing, I packed it away until the next time.

That’s it! One page done.
Can you see the size of that mail box with the bird on it?? I had to cut that out lol (actually the photo is a little blurry. But I have a tree, two lamp posts with flower pots under them and a mailbox in the picture).

So I pulled out my ROKR cranes. I have some ideas for this. The wood is very thin, and markers bleed.
I’m using Google Translate to make sense of some of the directions. I got to one step and the pieces kept falling out.
It was about that time that I decided to call it a night.
Back to it after work today.

These model kits are really beautiful and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I’m looking forward to seeing them when they’re finished.

You have to build the frame for it and cover it with paper, but I think that I will paint the frame.
