Well I left the Secret Bloomy Nook at camper. I came home to work on the Sunlit Farmhouse kitchen. I was able to put in about 2.5 hours. Still a lot to do! But this is coming along very nicely. This does have a bit more gluing and it has got a bit of the old style in it but still some snap together. I decided to change up a few things. Rather then a red stove vent, I decided copper may look nicer so I changed that. I did leave the stove a cream color. The stove has got so much detail! be sure to check the pic below! I will be changing chair as well. No clue if I will be able to make it beige or a wood tone. I may try to match table. I have not decided that yet.
I did not care for the shade of green for the cabinet in back so I darkened it. This coordinated with the wallpaper and paneling better I think. I did start off painting it a lighter green then went to a dark green. I did leave some edges light though and I liked that look. Not super noticeable. I included some of the other items built today as well.
Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the idea of that copper stove vent. It goes very well with the green on the cabinets as well. I can’t wait to see what other cool things you come up with. It’s going to look amazing!
Oh Jeanne I love the copper stove vent! Another idea I’m stealing for research purposes ! I’m loving all the details you’re showing us! I hope you’re having lots of fun!
