Between work, errands, and the usual chores, I kept sneaking back to my craft table whenever I could. Five minutes here, twenty minutes there… and before I knew it, the Slow Life Café had started to feel like a real place.
This round of crafting was all about bringing in the little details: a coffee bar, shelves, signboards,
Each piece only took a little while, but together they completely changed the atmosphere.
Right now, it feels like the café is finally starting to come to life—as if the furniture has just been delivered and someone is slowly unpacking everything, deciding where each piece belongs before opening day.
I’m still planning to build the kit mostly as designed before I start adding my own custom touches. I think it’ll be much easier to visualize my ideas once the café is fully furnished.
For now, I’m enjoying these little pockets of progress. They may be small, but they keep the excitement going.
@Gidge it’s funny when inspiration hits. I normally plan out any changes before hand, but often times I can’t see it until it’s done! Good luck on this one!!

In my case, I know what I want to do, but have to find the right materials to execute it… and the photos for inspiration … I really have to organize my digital files, too.
Thank you so much @Jo1. I thought of doing customization as I go along but then I realized I’ll have to see how much space I have and where I can put the things I intend to add, etc. So I figured I should just finish putting things together first
