When cutting straight lines of paper, I use a metal ruler and a paper knife. The cuts are much more beautiful and precise than scissors. I had to practice this method for a while to master it, because it is quite dangerous.

A really good tip! I don’t have a metal ruler at home, so when I had a Uni project, when I made Zine (small book), I used paper knife and… cutting bord
Because it’s also has a straight edges. But of course it was difficult
