I added my own water effect to this particular model using a specialised “water effects” gel. I even created a “boat wash” effect using a white gel. Have been looking for a project to try this gel out, it was perfect!
That’s a great idea.
Oh, this is a really nice idea you’ve came up with! This Nook is in my wishlist, so I’ll definitely make sure to find that sort of gel whenever I go for it (or, honestly, whichever other kit with a “water” effect). Nicely done!
This is so very cool! I love it!
Wow great effect…Love it what white gel do you mean?
Looks great. I’ve seen this advertised but the first time I’ve seen it in action. I really like what you’ve done.
Nice! thanks for sharing your idea ![]()
That’s awesome! Genius!
It looks perfect. It created a water effect really well. Nice work @Jacqueline_Maiolo
That looks really cool and realistic!
Awesome work! ![]()
Thanks so much for sharing I have this kit in my stash so I hope I’ll be able to make something similar. ![]()
The water effect is so nice.
It makes the kit more beautiful.
You’re creative.
Looks so cool! Does the gel dry up? What is it called?
That looks very realistic for water. (maybe not in Venice, but that is ok!) it looks cool!
This is such a great idea
Thank you for sharing this great idea with us
I bought these from Temu to try them out first. A good art supply store would probably have them, or any Model Railway supply store also.
The gel takes awhile to dry (didn’t take long here as it is the middle of summer),I believe about an hour in cooler climate.
Wow that’s so cool never seen them before.
Are they two different that you mix? or you can use either one? or is the white the boat wash? and what do you mean by that? Sorry, I am just trying to understand and learn. I love how it all looks!
