👍 [Beginner Tips] Light fixture too small for wires? No problem!

It’s great! I used it to make some tiny wood pieces that were missing in the kit. One of the pieces needed a hole drilled into the center. I’m having so much fun!

Great idea! thanks for sharing this tip. I have one but never used it to one of my builds

Is that a drill? Just curious, what are you using to hold the miniatures when you’re drilling them? I haven’t tried one yet and I’m afraid to cut my fingers.

I’ve used it several times for this build. I’m getting better at using it.

@serenebliss_23 yes, it drills and has sanding wheels. It also has saw blades to cut wood. You can use a mini vice to hold things but so far so have only used my fingers.

Oohh I think I will be afraid if I’m the one who will be using it since I don’t have an experience with it yet. Thanks for sharing though.

@serenebliss_23 I had zero experience with it when I got it. This build has caused me to use it quite a bit and I love it.

Ohh that’s nice. I thought you already have an experience. Maybe I will give it a try one day.

I’ve found most light fittings need to be threaded from the bottom up.

@Farsideb yes, that’s true, but this particular fixture had a hole too small to fit both wires into.
