👍 [Beginner Tips] “Elastic wood parts”

Don’t know what else to call them. You know the pieces that are cut partway through so that they will bend. Put a piece of tape on the back before you work with it and it shouldn’t break so easily.

Ahhh that is good to know and worth a try!

That’s a good tip. Will do that. Thanks for sharing.

I also find that flexing them back and before before trying to install them helps. I also and and wax the tabs that are being inserted. Slight stretching also helps.

Is this the pieces of wood with bendable design? Yes. I was able to do that and the tape in really helpful. But you still need to be careful.

That’s a nice idea! I’ll keep that in mind for future builds. Thanks a lot for the tip!

Oh that’s a nice idea! I have yet to break one but they’re hard to work with. :crossed_fingers:

That is a good idea. I always tend to break those part.

I’ve seen people say that…curious to know if it really helps.

Thank you for sharing helpful tricks.

Another great tip. I have been lucky so far with the bendy bits but it never hurts to have a trick up your sleeve.

I have heard this before. I also heard steaming the wood helps.
