Lol ive spent £800 on this craft room! The desk going up is tomorrow
Hahaha, I love having an American twin! ![]()
My problem is that I start with one tool, put it down to grab another, then I need something else, and before I know it there are paint bottles, brushes, scissors, glue, cardboard scraps, and random miniatures everywhere. ![]()
I can totally understand. I feel like I need everything right at my fingertips. The nail clipper things, sandpaper, scissors, glue, other glue, magnetic clips. Everything is all there and of course paints @Tinybysiw
I relate to that! I have the basics stored in a trolley right beside me. Okay, here’s a difficult question for you!
If you could only keep 5 crafting tools or supplies, what would they be? Which ones can’t you live without?
Wax, sandpaper, scissors, razor, glue
your looks neat, I’ve seen so much more messy workspaces (my sister for exemple XD)
And if you’re mid build, the “mess” make total sense.
My work area is the ground, so organised is not the word i’d use, and if i take a break I shove everything under nearby furnitures for safety and then pull it back out when I return to it XD On the plus side, I have all the space in the room, and items can’t fall out of reach from there XD
@Alicesharpe i was lucky my son gave me my craft desk i bought lovley enclosed draws of amazon … ![]()

@Felain That actually is a good idea!! I totally understand that one
@Tinybysiw tweezers, glue, sanding item, cutting mat, acrylic markers. Those are my basics for sure
Ooh, good question.
Sandpaper/emery board, scissors, wax, glue, paint pens
Some days I am better organized than others!
Hahaha, this looks very familiar! ![]()
If I’m in the middle of a build, I usually leave everything exactly where it is so I can jump right back in the next day. The only thing I make sure to do is put the tiny loose pieces in a small container or bag so they don’t accidentally disappear. Once the kit is finished though, I give everything a good clean before starting my next project. ![]()
