Well, they are quite cheap so even if they don’t work for you, the loss is less than $5. But I love how they clean up my sticky messes.

I found them one day when searching on Temu.
I have been using acetone to remove sticky residue.

I have acetone and I have used it but it reacted badly with some clear Perspex I was trying to clean and it left marks. That’s why I decided to try this and found it less abrasive than the acetone.

Good to know. There is another solution that I use to clean residue. I just need to find out where my mum have put them. They works really good and not too harsh.

I can’t read the box I have because it has stickers all over it but I looked it up online. AI has given me this answer.
Hey fellow potato! I like that they are are small and individually wrapped so I don’t have the issue of large bottles.

I only know of it because someone at work was using it to clean her shoes. 
But I think it’s meant to be used for sticky residues left behind by price tags. 
I do like your more cost effective option so I’ll keep that in mind!
