Part built to cover battery box is too small. fits well without battery box, no hope with battery box fitted.

You sure you’re following the instructions correctly? They’re supposed to be precise. And I haven’t heard about anyone complaining about this before.

Hello. Are you sure you followed the instructions correctly? I haven’t heard any similar feedback; I did it myself and had no problems.
I would have to guess that maybe your hinges were installed backwards or something. Maybe the battery box is upside down or installed facing the wrong direction? I’ve never seen this brought up before and every kit is made exactly the same.

Welcome to the community @Peter_Davis . I have built this already and haven’t had this problem at all. Have you checked the direction of the hinges to make sure that you have installed it in the right directions? Have you got any photos of it?
