I bought this on a good sale not too long ago since there was just no way I could resist. I’m planning to give it to my partner to make and use it as a little bait to lure him into my hobby. 
He’s already super supportive of me but I’m hoping he’ll discover his own joy in making one too. 
This is definitely something he will be interested in, I just hope he’ll pay attention to the details!

Yes! I have made it. It was my first. My son gave it to me as a Christmas gift 2 years ago. I cursed every minute I was assembling…and then proceeded to over a hundred after I was done…LOL! It was a bit of a challenge. You just might be pushing your partner away…LOL!
Hahaha to be fair he loves tinkering and Lego just not much of an attention to detail person. So maybe we will build it together. 
I’m not a ROKR person (yet) so this can either make or break us.
If you are not an ROKR person yet…I don’t think this one will reel you in…LOL! You need something fantastic like the Dream Gift Factory!
That was the first ROKR model I ever made. I’d seen them in Robotime stores that could move automatically. But mine required manual rotation, so I automated it. You can take a look.

I’ve never built this one myself, but it does look really cool and I can totally see why it caught your eye. It’s not the kind of kit I’d usually build either, but it feels like a perfect gateway kit. Fingers crossed it works and he gets hooked too! heheh

Hahah same twin it’s not something I’ll build but I think it looks really cool and it lights up too! So hopefully he’ll manage to build it somehow and I can have it on display.

I ordered this as a December leaderboard reward 
I think it’ll arrive tomorrow. My 11-year-old nephew made this as his first build. I’m sure your husband will succeed too, and who knows, maybe he’ll be hooked too
