Are you gifting a loved one a Robotime kit this year? 🤗

Hey everyone!
Quick question:
If youre gifting a Robotime kit, would you gift it built or leave them to build it? My mom has a kit but she never finished it. Should i gift her one already made or a really easy project? (She loves harry potter and found a harry potter booknook as she said. But never finished it) So im kinda torn between the two. If i could get some advice id really appreciate it, im hoping yall will recommend something that im not thinking of

I was thinking of something like this, or Robotime :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Maybe you can work on finishing it together.

My mom really enjoys receiving miniature’s that I build. One time she even intercepted a miniature I was trying to give to my sister.

But my mother would not enjoy building puzzles or miniatures. That has never been her thing.

I vote for already made. Sometimes as we get older the dexterity is not as good and can make things more difficult. I know my sight struggles a little too but I can still finish at this point. I do not know how old your mom is but something to consider. Or she may enjoy working on it with you to give her encouragement and hopes for success!

I vote for ready made too! Or you could try making it together?
I’m the only one who loves these things so I don’t see anyone else I know embracing the build process and that’s fine.

Reading your story i vote already build

I have gifted my mom with three of my builds because they are oriented around flowers and she absolutely loves them. She is 82 and loves doing regular jigsaw puzzles but she doesn’t have the skills to build a 3D wooden puzzle

I think it’s depends on who you want to gift it too. Older adults over 60yo, I would gift one that already made. Teens or younger adults I would gift them something that they can enjoy building.

I choose it built. Older people will sometimes have difficulty building/.

I agree. Age is only a number and I can guarantee that over half of the members on my rokr official fans page are probably over the age of 60 @jeanneL

I guess it depends on their age and their ability… @ThaoNguyen I am over 60

I would tend to disagree. I am trying to get my nieces and nephews interested in these and they are not. I once did a poll in the rokr official fans group and over 40% of the members are over 60 @Tricia12

You make a great point! I never thought of that, i really appreciate that! Thank you sweetheart! :heart_hands:

Thank you! Im thinking of making her a harder build then gifting her an easy one :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you so much! I appreciate it! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Sometimes age doesn’t even matter. My 15-year-old niece does not have any patience for these but my 17-year-old nephew loves them. Each person has their own level of craftiness and patience and skill

I think it depends on the person. If you know she has tried them and hasnt enjoyed them enough to finish then i would build it for her i think.

Im planning to gift a few kits, some im going to build and some i will leave for the receiver to do.
