A quaint, family-owed bookstore tucked behind the main road closed in our city about 15 years ago. The neighbourhood still remembers, like a black and white movie clip.
After building the Corner Bookstore I was transported back to my childhood - browsing the shelves, finding that perfect book, then spending the afternoon ogling at the pages tucked by the corner table. The details in this kit is amazing I mean, the typewriter is just wow. We had one growing up, we always loved using it. Sadly it was boxed during a move and misplaced. Who still has a typewriter around?
Such a cute European book store! Very quaint and out of the way and perfect. Yeah that Typewriter is cool. I learned to type on an old one back in school! Yep I dated myself lol. Loving it. Good job
What a beautiful memory. It’s amazing how a miniature can bring back moments we haven’t thought about in years. The Corner Bookstore really has that nostalgic charm, and I completely agree about the typewriter,it adds so much character. I don’t have one anymore either, but seeing it in this kit definitely brings back memories.
What a beautiful memory. It’s amazing how a miniature can bring back moments we haven’t thought about in years. I love that this kit reminded you of your childhood bookstore. And yes, that tiny typewriter is such a standout detail!
This was a fun kit for sure! I enjoyed all the little details and I did customize a bit by changing up some colors. But it really is so quant. Thanks for sharing!
