One of the highlights of our last Robotime PH Meetup was definitely the Alumni Creations segment — it was such a heartwarming and inspiring part of the event that it deserves its own post. ![]()
Before the meetup, I invited several past participants to come back, enjoy good food, bond with fellow crafters, and bring their favorite builds for a little show-and-tell session with our newer participants. Five amazing alumni happily said yes.
Gigi @Gidge, one of my very first participants, brought her beautiful Baking Kitchen and Muse Bookstore. What makes her builds extra special are the personal touches she adds — like filling the bookstore with books she personally loves and adding freshly baked pan de sal details to the kitchen.
Mikhaila @Gentoo_Builds , who joined our previous meetup, shared how building started as a school project but eventually became her hobby and stress reliever from school life. Now that she has graduated, we’re excited to see even more builds from her in the future. She wasn’t able to bring her ROKR Dream Gift Factory because transporting it safely was quite challenging, but her story still inspired everyone listening.
Paula @Pola , also a participant from last meetup is already an avid builder with an impressive collection, brought her Cathy’s Flower House and Cheers Bar. She shared that while the Flower House may not be her prettiest build, it was definitely the hardest one she has completed. Meanwhile, the Cheers Bar looks amazing with its realistic bar-style lighting.
Bea @beav3 , also one of my first participants and currently a college student, shared how building gives her comfort and calmness, especially after stressful exams. She’s only starting her collection, but her passion for the craft already shines through.
Last but not least was Joy @joy.licerio , whose daughter introduced her to Rolife. After trying her first build, she quickly fell in love with the hobby. She brought her customized A-Frame Cabin, which featured a family photo inside. She shared that it now feels like their own little snowy cabin somewhere far away.
The entire segment was filled with warmth, stories, laughter, and inspiration. It was such a beautiful reminder that crafting is more than just building kits — it’s about creativity, memories, healing, and connection. The passion these alumni shared was truly infectious.
At the end of the segment, participants voted for their favorite stories and creations. Every alumna received a special token of appreciation for participating, while Paula and Joy went home with major prizes.
