How do you like working with the EVA foam panels?
Looks great so far with your progress.

Welcome back!
It’s great to see an update!
Welcome back!
Your progress looks incredible already.
Wow!! It looks so real. Great job ![]()
@Jerry_Boswijk welcome back, and this post-apocalyptic diorama is looking seriously atmospheric. The painted and weathered walls, concrete floor, barn doors, pipes, and roof tiles already give it a strong abandoned-world feeling. The Mini Cooper diorama idea sounds like a wonderful next story to build around too.
Oh my gosh Jerry. Did you hand paint the bricks individually? That is total commitment to the hobby for sure. And the result is awesome. ![]()
Wow! This looks amazing @Jerry_Boswijk so realistic!
Wow! What a great paint job! So realistic! Can’t wait to see it finished!
Wow, that brick wall looks amazing! You really are so talented.
Thanks. My brain in running overtime on the next one indeed. To do models much better i will need a airbrush but these are pretty expensive so will have to save for that and figure a way to do this one in the meanwhile
I love that show. I also wanna watch all walking dead spin-offs but most are nit available here.
I get you. It helped me to keep inspired while i was struggling in the beginning.
It is my first time using it so far it feels oke. The bricks were already made into it, so i didn’t need to carve them myself but it is a strong material and easy to work with.
Yes i did. I first painted it a red brick colour all over and then used different colours and combos to repaint individual bricks. Then added the plaster in the cracks and then the weathering washes got applied.
That is an excellent technique. It turned out so well.
@Jerry_Boswijk that’s means a lot. Thank you sir
