Day four of building! I didn’t make as much progress today; it just wasn’t my day. I got a bit overwhelmed and had to stop because everything was going wrong.
These logs have been stressing me out—the side stickers keep peeling off; there’s just no way to get them right… I spent ages on it, and in the end, they didn’t even turn out straight. I was on the verge of throwing the whole thing in the trash, but I decided to stop building for now and pick it up again tomorrow.
That’s all I built today… the plants turned out terrible, and the logs—well, I’ll use them, but they didn’t come out right… and I don’t want to redo them; they stressed me out too much. But if I see a future kit that requires logs like that, it’s better to glue the sides together—it saves a lot of work.
By the way, most kits state that they don’t require glue, but I always end up using it anyway.
I don’t know if it’s too much to ask, but it would be ideal if all the kits at least included that basic glue—the one in the white and orange bottle—since customs actually allows that kind.
@Sasa no matter what kit i have my glue is at hand hun … I hope you feel better tomorrow definatley take a break hun do something else … go back to it when you feel ready … your doing great though !
Oh no, it really sounds like the build was fighting you today! I think you did the right thing by stopping instead of letting the frustration take over. The logs, wires, and plants sound like quite the combination, but hopefully tomorrow will be a much better building day. Sometimes walking away and coming back with fresh eyes makes all the difference!
Yeah, that’s why I mentioned that the soft glue—which is allowed through customs and included in all the kits—would be ideal. I haven’t done any building all week because of vertigo.
@Sasa my daughter has that its awful hun you take care of yourself ok building is always there no rush … and once I had glue in a kit the one you mentioned
