A-Frame Cabin 🏠 3.0

Hi there! :brown_heart:

Day three of building this log cabin!

I’ve made quite a bit of progress; I managed to put in about two hours today, but I barely took any photos—there was nothing unusual to report.

Today, above all, I created the side walls with their decorations and a bit of the interior.

I found another potentially confusing error in the guide.

It states at the top that it involves “G” wood and “g” parts, but right next to that, it lists “Y” parts; however, there is no “Y” wood plank—those parts actually come in a numbered bag (either 4 or 5). Someone buying the kit for the first time might spend a while trying to figure this out, thinking parts are missing, when in fact they are simply in the bag and the guide failed to mention it.

And that’s it for today’s post!

Thank you for sharing the process and information. Many others have likely found themselves in the same situation, thinking something was missing.

@Sasa ive also found that ive had to look for parts and realised there in a bag hun … but its coming along nicley

Wow almost done! :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

It’s coming along well. And thank you for the heads up on the mislabeling.

Interesting find. I think this happens a lot on the kits where the location or number of the part isn’t right and it takes forever to figure out lol

Thanks so much to you, too! Most likely! I spent a while looking for it, haha.

Thanks, lovely! I actually spent a while looking until I realized!

Yeah, I’m almost done!

Thanks! I hope this helps those who haven’t built it yet!

Yes, it is indeed a challenging kit but I had fun building that!
I look forward to seeing your finished build! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m sure it will. What is the string of beads for? Was that with the model or is it something you have added with your final vision in mind?

The side walls are already looking great.

You are my welcome

It’s not proving too complicated for me so far, hehe —it’s just that error in the manual I spotted. Thanks!

It comes with the kit! And it goes exactly where I put it, hehe.

Yes, I think the side wall—the one that opens—is the best-looking part of the kit.

Thanks for sharing that piece of information. I’ll keep it in mind as I have not done this kit yet.

Wow, I never would have thought it.
