My former partner and I met at a bar when I was shooting pool and he was visiting his family in the town that I lived in. We were together for 23 years and still remain friends. If I were to gift him with something, it would definitely be the A-frame cabin that I turned into a fishing lodge. We worked together every day and fished together when we were not working. Each trip always held some very special memories and both of my kids also grew up to love fishing as well.
My boyfriend and I met in high school and we’re still together 3 years later! High school sweet hearts. He cooks amazing food, and he even pulls the crab meat out for me.
A set that I would give him would be the pirate ship since we love watching Pirates of the Caribbean together!!
I have met my partner at a restaurant back in 2018. At that time my family and I was going for a nice lunch at a restaurant in Melbourne. We I was ordering food, I just caught this guy just staring at me. At that time I thought it was quite creepy. And a few moment later, I saw my uncle walk up to him and talking to him. I was like why uncle is talking to this guy that was staring at me. I didn’t know they were friends. So my uncle told him that I am a pharmacist and if he has any questions then just ask me. So he went ahead and gave my phone number to him. And me as a social butterfly I can talk to anyone, and số he started calling me everyday. And he found out that I really like flowers so he would send flowers to my workplace all the time. He was very loving and caring. So it took a year for me to say yes to him to start dating. I said yes to him on the weekend before Valentine’s Day 10/2/2019 because 14/2/2019 I would be at work. So our journey begins.
I said to him that I love Sakura flower so I would be taking my mum to go to Japan to see some but unfortunately I missed out. I should have calculate my dates when I travel a lot better. So when I came back to Melbourne I told him I was disappointed that I missed out, but anyway there will always be next time. So starting of spring 2019 he surprised me with a beautiful big cherry blossom tree in the garden. He said I want to plant it so then I can see it every year. He is so sweet.
He said to me that he has got a plan to have a tattoo on his rib. And that would be a cherry blossom tree. And that would represent his love for me. And so I will be waiting for that day to come. And hopefully you will all be here so I ca share those photos.
If I could gift a model then I would be gifting Rolife Sakura Tree House. We had a lot of great memories with the Sakura tree and this tree house is just perfect. It represent our future beautiful family we wanted to build. Full of love and fun memories.
So up coming is our 7 years anniversary. . So far we are enjoying each other company and hopefully we will be coming together under the one roof soon.
How I met my Partner, Kalvin:
Kalvin and I met off a dating app called Tinder. Ive heard relationships off that app never work but it looks like Kalvin and I prove that wrong. We talked for weeks until I asked for us to go to our local Tim Horton’s, I got there first and grabbed a ice capp and blueberry muffin. Kalvin came in grabbed himself an ice capp as well then we started chatting and couldn’t stop. We talked for 3hs at that coffee shop then continued talking going to my house. We played Guitar Hero till 11pm then he sadly went home. After that day, we kept hanging out and he actually met my family before we even started dating We were shooting a BB gun when we took this photo This is a photo of when he came to my house for Easter dinner before we started dating:
His family already knew me as they were regular customers at a tech store I used to work at so introduction were quite easy. We blended into eachothers lives seamlessly We’ve accomplished things I never thought I could ever do like hiking The Sleeping Giant 8hs back and forth, to getting our first car together. He’s my best friend, I feel like the luckiest girl everyday that I get to date my best friend
The kit I’d give him:
The build I’d give him is the A-Frame Cabin (DG181) because we love fishing. We love the outdoors, Kalvins parents own a fishing resort and the A-Frame would remind him of home Kalvins a big family person, he’s the most caring man I’ve ever met
We didn’t meet in a big, dramatic way — just through everyday chats and shared interests that slowly grew into something special. One of my favorite sweet moments is a quiet night, sitting side by side, working on our hobbies or watching a drama together. Just being there, sharing the simple peace and comfort of each other’s company.
If I could gift a Rolife Sakura Dreamy Tour DIY Music Box 3D Wooden Puzzle (AMT02) this Valentine’s Day, that would be my pick. We both love Japan, and although we’ve traveled there, we’ve never caught the cherry blossom season — a sweet dream we hope to experience someday.
He’s not really into building miniatures… yet! But maybe this Valentine’s Day I can tempt him to try. Imagine us fumbling with tiny pieces, laughing at our fails, and slowly turning it into our new favorite hobby. Who knows? Miniature building might just become our next adventure together!
